Delete your Metevio account

You can delete your account and all data tied to it yourself, in the app.

1. In the app

1. Open Metevio and tap the account button at the top of the screen.
2. Choose Delete account and confirm.

This needs an internet connection, because the data is removed from our server. The app then also removes everything it stored on your device.

2. Without the app

If you no longer have the app, write to support@metevio.de from the email address of your account (or, for Google or Apple sign-in, say which one you used). We may ask you to prove that the account is yours. We delete the account within 1 days and confirm by email.

3. What is deleted

• Your account, every sign-in method (email, Google, Apple), your profile and all sessions.
• All places, activities and conditions, notification settings and push tokens, and the synchronisation records.

4. What is kept, and for how long

• Database backups may hold your data for up to 7 days after deletion; it is not used, and is overwritten as the backups rotate.
• Operating logs (see the privacy policy) expire after 30 days.
• Data held by Google or Apple under their own terms — for instance notification delivery — is not affected.

Deleting the account cannot be undone. Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account.
